Today, R2 Surgical provides surgical robotic systems, instruments, endoscopes, and accessories to healthcare facilities worldwide. R2 Surgical specializes in maximizing the value of legacy da Vinci Xi systems, providing hospitals with a higher-return alternative to OEM trade-in credits. This option unlocks additional capital that can be reallocated into new projects, additional staffing, clinical programs, or technology investments. Working with R2 Surgical offers financial flexibility and responsible lifecycle management of advanced surgical systems.

R2 Surgical’s sustainability efforts also extend beyond robotic systems. In 2025, the Green Initiative Instrument Recycling Program was launched to provide a better path for used da Vinci instruments. Participating facilities collect and return used instruments to R2 Surgical, who partners with the only FDA-cleared re-manufacturer to restore them to like-new condition. The result: reduced medical waste with no strings attached.
