Mar-Med is a US physician-founded medical device manufacturer and global distributor based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Since 1989 we design and distribute practical, disposable medical devices used in emergency medicine, pediatrics, podiatry, hand surgery, and orthopedic surgery, with a focus on improving care while supporting cost-effective purchasing.
Our portfolio includes the following devices:
Tourni-Cot and Uni-Cot – Digit Tourniquets – Make it safe and easy to achieve hemostasis for procedures on finger and toes. The original Tourni-Cot comes in four sizes, while the new Uni-Cot is a universal size device, suitable for adult and pediatric digits.
Zerowet SuperShield and Klenzalac – Wound Irrigation – Mar-Med acquired ZeroWet in 2025 to add their line of popular wound irrigation devices. Use SuperShield for the vast majority of lacerations, while Klenzalac comes complete for more complex wounds with high volume irrigation.
Balloon Extractor – Nasal Foreign Body Remover – Our Balloon Extractor is a lower cost version of the Katz Extractor, with high quality you can rely on to remove a variety of foreign bodies from children’s noses.
Rhino-Pak® – Epistaxis – Rhino-Pak is our version of the Rapid Rhino by Smith & Nephew, but at less than half the cost. Our balloon tamponade device comes with a CMC fabric that turns to gel when soaked in water, which lubricates the insertion and removal.
Derma-Stent™ – Abscess & Cyst Management – Derma-Stent is an abscess / cyst drain based off the popular loop drain method, which reduces utilization and improves patient satisfaction.
