Dieble Surgical LLC (#4420)
The Dieble “In Queue” surgical instrument stand was designed by Diane Lyons, an LPN with over 26 years of surgical experience. Diane set out to develop a more efficient way to handle surgical instruments on and off the field.
Diane understood that patient and employee safety requires a team effort between surgery and sterile processing. In Queue is a tool that makes it possible for the two teams to establish a workflow that improves safety and efficiency.
In Central Processing In Queue assists with organization and stringing of instruments. Instruments are then sterilized and sent up to surgery where they are picked up as one unit and placed on the mayo stand and or the back table. The stringer rod is removed, and the stand is then used to pass instruments to and from the field. At the end of the case the instruments are restrung and returned to Central Processing in a safe and organized manner.
In Queue provides a universal set up that helps maintain an even workflow during changeover of personnel and assists in accurate counts both in surgery and in Central Processing. In Queue is a non-disposable instrument stand and stringer which effectively keeps instruments open during sterilization and replaces the commonly rolled towel used to support instruments, this along with the non-disposable metal clips makes In Queue is one of the few products that pays for itself with every use and because of its longevity In Queue will free money up in the budget for years to come.
