Facility Member Information

MAGNET GROUP, founded in 1979, is one of the oldest, most experienced shared service organizations in the country. MAGNET GROUP’s membership is comprised of approximately 700 hospitals, 700 long term care facilities, and several thousand physicians/clinics/surgery centers. MAGNET GROUP serves a variety of other entities, such municipalities, colleges and universities, non-profit organizations, and veterinary practices.

Although MAGNET GROUP contracts are available nationally, we group facility members geographically to enable us to respond to regional needs when necessary.

Facility members are grouped as follows:

G1 HCSC– Facilities that are also members of Hospital Central Services Corp (HCSC). Most are in Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey.

G4 Northeast– Facilities in New York and New Jersey.

G10 New England– Facilities in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.

G75 SOHCA– Facilities that are also members of Southwest Ohio Health Care Affiliates (SOHCA), a subsidiary of the Greater Dayton Area Hospital Association (GDAHA). All are in Ohio.

G95 MG– Facilities in this group are in various states.
